This pattern is a fun and quick project no matter your sewing level! Pick a playful print cotton or satin for the front of your mask and pair it with a soft silky backing that blocks out light and feels good on your face. The interior of this mask has natural batting for a pillow-like feel. Upgrade your mask project with an additional layer of cotton for stability and an adjustable band! 

Both mask patterns fit most adults. The large is for a fuller coverage of the face and to block out more light. 

Standard mask dimensions: 7.5” across,  2.5” top to nose bridge.

Large mask dimensions: 8.25” across,  3” top to nose bridge.

Materials Needed:

9.5” by 5.5” printed cotton fabric or any non-stretch fabric for front (silk, satin, flannel, cotton)

9.5” by 5.5” thin natural quilt batting fabric ( I use Warm and Natural)

9.5” by 5.5” Silk fabric ( I use 100% silk but cotton, bamboo, satin and flannel work as well)

Optional: 9.5” by 5.5” black cotton fabric

5/8” Fold-over elastic (12” for non-adjustable, 15” for adjustable)

Optional: 5/8” Slider and O Ring ( For adjustable band only)

This patterned is for all levels. If you have used a sewing machine or are just learning you can make this eye mask!
